Welcome to Keep Calm and Carry Yarn, we sell unique one of a kind hand knitted items. Well to be more exact, my mum knits and I sell them. We are starting out with Twiddle muffs which are great for people with dementia, Alzheimers and other conditions to help engage tactile senses.
These twiddle muffs are of the highest quality. Handknitted, with a lovely soft and warm inner lining. Each muff is completely unique, no two that are the same. Lots of different colours and items used.
This muff is mainly blue and cream, with a pretty flower, a pouch with the letter W and some buttons, a lace line with buttons, a number 9, a knitted line with knitted loops. Inside is a lovely soft white fleecy lining with more ribbon, buttons, and a purple bobbly thingy. Look at the pictures to see the detail that goes into every twiddle muff.

Profits made are going towards fundraising for Claire House, a childrens hospice in the North West. They help seriously and terminally ill children live life to the full by creating wonderful experiences and bringing back a sense of normality to family life. By providing specialist nursing care and emotional support they help families smile again when life couldn’t get any tougher.
I am fundraising in a number of ways like these knitted goods and also running the New York Marathon 2022. All money raised will be added to my Just Giving page which can be found HERE. As you can see a donation was already made from sales on another platform. Going forward we will only be selling on Fundamentas, as schools benefit from sales rather than some online marketplace! I have also covered my own travel expenses which you can see on the JustGiving page too.
